Açai Bowl
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of frozen Açai purée
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 Tbsp. almond butter
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop of protein powder (optional)
- Toppings: 1/4 cup berries, 1 tbsp coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey
Recipe:
- Add the Açai packet, bananas, almond milk to your electric blender and blend until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients: chia seeds, protein powder, and almond butter, and blend. Adding the ingredients in this order ensures a smooth and well-mixed product. Make sure to blend for about 3-4 mins as chia seeds take some time to break down. For a thicker, ice-cream consistency add ¼ cup of ice.
- Pour your açai in a bowl and add the toppings mentioned above. Drizzle with honey for a sweet touch, completely optional but loved by kids! It is now ready to devour.
